Whether Babar Masjid was constructed by demolishing Ram Temple? If Liberhan Commision explains this truth it will clear people’s doubts. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

The Liberhan Commission, probing the demolition of the disputed structure at Ayodhya on December 6, 1992, submitted its report to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on 30-6-2009.The Commission, headed by Justice (rtd) M S Liberhan, was constituted on December 16, 1992 by an order of the Union Home Ministry. It was to investigate the demolition of the Babri Masjid and the riots that followed.

The Babri Mosque or Babri Masjid was constructed during the reign of the first Mughal emperor of India, Babar, in Ayodhya in the 16th century. The Mosque was named so in the 1940s, before it was called `Masjid-i Janmasthan` meaning “mosque of the birthplace”. There is a long history associated with the Masjid, this is believed that Babar’s commander-in-chief Mir Baki smashed an already existing temple there, which was built to celebrate the birthplace of the Hindu deity Rama. Babar died in Agra in December 1539, but was buried as he wished to be in the hills of his beloved Kabul.

The Babri Masjid before its demolition is only a structure nobody offered any prayers there. It is like any other masjid and had not significance.Whoever demolished the Ram Temple and Masjid , both Hindu and Muslim communities in India should come forward to leave their religious  differences and they must come forward to built both the Ram Temple and Babar Masjid at the same place in Ayodhya on a mutual understanding.

The Liberhan commission must also explain the facts, whether Babri Masjid was constructed on demolishing Ram Temple? Indian citizens should remember Gandhi’s words that Ram and Rahim are one.
