When Maran Brothers going to get Justice in “Dinakaran” News paper attack incident? Tamil Speech By S.V.Ramani.

Three innocent young people killed in Madurai “Dinakaran” Tamil Daily News paper office on 9-5-2007, when protesters threw petrol bombs at the office building..
This is due to supporters who were protesting against the publication of an opinion poll that did not favor their leader MK Azhagiri, son of M.Karunanidhi, Tamilnadu CM.
The protestors set fire to the office of the Tamil daily Dinakaran in the temple town of Madurai, some 350 km south of Tamil Nadu state capital Chennai. In the fire accident, Two computer operators and a peon died of suffocation, The poll showed that only 2 percent of voters in Tamil Nadu wanted Azhagiri to succeed his father, state Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, as leader of the DMK party. Azhagiri is the Karunanidhi’s eldest son. The poll indicated that 70 percent of voters wanted MK Stalin, Karunanidhi’s younger son to succeed his father. Another 2 percent went to Kanimozhi, Karunanidhi’s daughter to succeed him.

Despite the presence of the police, Azhagiri loyalists were in a state of frenzy. They damaged seven buses and burnt copies of the Dinakaran. Culprits, who came in motorcycles? And a car pelted stones damaging window panes. Even as the employees were rushing out, the attackers hurled petrol bombs. The office was gutted in the attack that lasted at least 20 minutes.
The police registered a case and arrested two persons Pandi and Batcha.
Sun TV network CMD Kalanidhi Maran who reached the city called it on attack on “the freedom of the Press” and vowed to “till we get justice”.

Now on 9-12-2009 Madurai District Sessions Judge released all the 17 accused stating that there is no evidence for their involvement in the attack. We are hereby

Thiruvarur was the capital during Tamil King Manuneethi Cholan. In order to provide justice to a cow, which lost its Calf under the wheels of his son’s chariot, Manuneethi Cholan tried to kill his own son under the chariot as a punishment to himself. Like that now Justice must be given to the parents who lost their sons in the attack of “Dinakaran” News paper.
